My 'Jhingalala' Parents

Enthusiastic parents. Need I say more?

It seems to me at times that my lot is just like Maria from The Sound Of Music exhibiting the enthusiasm of " 50 going on 20" while I slouch in a corner with an expression of a 100 year old Captain Von Trapp.
The combined energy that my parents have will surely be enough to fuel an entire city for weeks on end. I will personally write to the Municipal Corporation telling them to cut back on energy consumption and that rest assured, this unstoppable force that I was gifting them would definitely help them in the forthcoming election. It would be like a real life marvel movie.
I would probably take over the role of the Grinch ( not from Marvel, of course) as I am 'the glass is half-empty' kind of a person. Not to worry though , any realistic emotion that I would try to express will fall deaf to my parents' ears with the saying that, 'You have already become a grandma at this age. Try to live a bit. '
The word 'jhingalala' might sound foreign  but the emotion is most definitely not. 'Jhingalala' is when you are so happy that you cannot seem to stop your feet from dancing ( an emotion that is foreign to me) and you go around like a merry-go round impersonating those guys from 'La La Land. '
This blog was my mom's idea and the title is also her creation ( I do have to step in and say that the writing is mine, though).
Well, you will have a 'jhingalala' moment at times in your life and when you do, remember that I was the first one to introduce to you, 'The Jhingalala Parents.'

PS- Not referring to the Redmi jhingalala, of course.
